baby it's cold outside

One of my other favorite events while in TN was a baby shower I co-hosted for Jessi. It was the perfect time since all of the family would be in town. One of Kathy's gracious friends agreed to host which was awesome because her house is decorated like crazy for Christmas. So I easily decided on the theme, baby it's cold outside.

I ordered the invited off of etsy which was a first for me. They were super cute but in hind sight I will order them much further in advance because they went out pretty late. I whipped up a little banner, diaper wreath and some cute "baby wishes" cards. My co-host, Beverly, took care of all the food which was delicious. Anna was able to attend and she acted as a wonderful helper with the gifts. She was also a shark when it came to my one game with clothespins. I personally enjoyed seeing all of Kathy's sweet friends as I could see how well she is loved.

We had a great time opening presents, visiting with friends and family and generally celebrating the arrival of a new baby boy to the family in April. The girls think he sound be called Cookie Princess so until we have a real name that's what we've been calling him. :) Jessi and I had the opportunity to talk all things baby and play with her new baby items which are even cooler now. It's so great to come along side my beautiful sister-in-law during this special time. I can't wait to be an aunt again!
